Bolton chairman Phil Gartside has put to rest any doubts over the future of star midfielder Lee Chung-Yong.

Following Wanderers' relegation to the Championship, many feared they would have seen the last of the South Korea international.

Many believed the 23-year-old had just 12 months to run on his existing contract, but Gartside has revealed on Twitter that the midfielder is committed to the club until the summer of 2015.

Chung-Yong has been linked with a move to Tranzonspor in recent days, with the Turkish side ready to offer him the prospect of UEFA Europa League football next season.
