Ivan Klasnic has admitted he will leave Bolton when his contract expires at the end of June.

Klasnic finished as top goalscorer for Wanderers this season, but his nine goals weren't enough to prevent Owen Coyle's side from losing their Premier League status.

The 32-year-old has become a favourite with Trotters supporters during his three years at the Reebok Stadium, but he admits he will seek a new challenge when his deal expires next month.

"I can't believe it and I'm sad and unhappy," Klasnic posted on his official website.

"I had a very good time in Bolton the last three years. I hope they get promoted next year to the Premier League because this team belong to the Premiership.

"I'll leave the club and want to say thank you for three years. I'll keep Bolton in my heart."

In total, Klasnic made 94 appearances for Bolton and scored 24 goals.
