After weeks of voting, Burnden Aces are pleased to announce Nigel Reo-Coker as the 2011/12 Bolton Wanderers Player of the Season.

Signed on a free transfer from Aston Villa last summer, Reo-Coker made 42 appearances for Wanderers this season and contributed three goals.

Such was the impact of his signing, Reo-Coker regularly wore the captain's armband this season and he has earned the fans vote in becoming the seventh annual Burnden Aces Player of the Season, on the same day that he celebrates his 28th birthday.

Reo-Coker beat off competition from Adam Bogdan, who won the club's award on Sunday night, with Mark Davies finishing behind them in third.
