Lee Chung-Yong completed 75 minutes on Friday morning in a behind-closed-doors game against Wigan Athletic.

Chung-Yong was lining up for Wanderers' reserves for the first time since breaking his leg in a pre-season friendly at Newport County last July.

There has been speculation that the South Korea international could return to first team action against Stoke City on the final day of the season, but Trotters boss Owen Coyle is refusing to make any drastic decisions.

"What I do know is that he has done very well in his two and a half weeks of training," Coyle said.

"What we can't do is anything detrimental to his long-term wellbeing.

"He will certainly play part of the game today and we will look at it and assess from there where he is at."
