Ivan Klasnic is confident Bolton can secure enough points to retain their place in the Premier League.

Wanderers currently occupy 18th position in the table and trail Queens Park Rangers on goal difference, albeit with a game in hand.

Klasnic, who has been used regularly as a substitute in recent weeks, believes Bolton's game against Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday night will be key to their hopes of survival and admits a win could go a long way towards their aim of survival.

"I am sure we can stay in the Premier League," Klasnic told Sky Sports. "I think we have a good team and we are better than normal.

"Wigan got three points on Saturday. They won 4-0 against Newcastle which was a surprise, but we have one game in hand against Tottenham. We have to win this game and then we will have the same points as Wigan.

"If we can get a good result on Wednesday, it would be a good opportunity for us to stay in the league."
