Reo-Coker: Five Cup Finals Remaining

Nigel Reo-Coker believes Bolton must treat their final five games like cup finals if they are to retain their Premier League status.

Wanderers will travel to Aston Villa on Tuesday night, four points adrift of safety, but with two games in hand on their rivals at the bottom of the table.

Reo-Coker has hit back at claims that Saturday's draw against Swansea City was not good enough and he believes the players at the Reebok Stadium have enough in their locker to keep the club in the top flight.

"At the end of the season it could turn out to be a valuable point and we need to build on this now," Reo-Coker told the club's official website.

"There are good games ahead of us from which we can get results and now it's all about our belief. It can't just come from the manager and coaches on the bench, we have to take the responsibility when we cross the white line.

"It's our job and occupation and we need to step up. We've got five cup finals ahead of us - it isn't just Tuesday's game. We have to go out and show how much it means.

"It's still so tight - there are three teams currently in the drop zone and there are three teams sitting just above it who could be dragged in.

"That just shows how competitive it is, so we have to compete. Villa might be on edge with where they are in the league but we have to take advantage of that."
