Saturday's Premier League meeting between Bolton and Blackburn Rovers will go ahead as planned, the club have confirmed.

The game will take place on Saturday, with a 15:00 kick-off at the Reebok Stadium.

Despite speculation suggesting Wanderers were ready to pull out of the FA Cup, the abandoned tie with Tottenham Hotspur will also go ahead.

Bolton will make their return to White Hart Lane next Tuesday, 27th March 2012, with kick-off at 19:30. The game will be shown live on ESPN.

Trotters boss Owen Coyle confirmed he has spoken to Fabrice Muamba's father and fiancee regarding the club's fixture list and he has been urged to carry on as normal, despite the 23-year-old remaining in a critical condition in hospital following his cardiac arrest last weekend.

"We spoke together with the players as a group this morning and I talked with Fabrice's family last night," Coyle said.

"Fabrice's father Marcel and his fiancee Shauna were keen that we fulfil our fixtures.

"Once the players knew this, there was no doubt in our minds that we would play the matches."
