Bolton's FA Cup tie at Tottenham Hotspur has been abandoned after Fabrice Muamba appeared to collapse on the field of play.
With 41 minutes on the clock at White Hart Lane, medical personnel rushed onto the field to resuscitate the 23-year-old, who has been rushed to hospital for emergency treatment.
The incident occurred with the game level at 1-1. Wanderers took the lead after six minutes as Gareth Bale deflected a Darren Pratley flick past his own goalkeeper.
Bolton's lead lasted just five minutes, however, as Kyle Walker got the better of Marcos Alonso before heading past Adam Bogdan.
Then, with just four minutes left to play before the break, Muamba collapsed to the floor and after a long period of treatment, referee Howard Webb had no other alternative but to abandon the match.
