Union Would Allow Le Toux Move

Philadelphia Union would not stand in the way of Sebastien Le Toux should he wish to join Bolton Wanderers.

Le Toux recently returned to America following a week-long trial with Owen Coyle's side and it remains unclear whether Wanderers will make a move for the 28-year-old forward.

Should an approach materialise, Union head coach Peter Nowak admits it would be hard for the club to stand in the way of the player.

"I think for every player, regardless of their age, if an opportunity like that presents itself, then you've got to grab it by the horns," Nowak said.

"We'll see what happens next but that's the story right now. We're in the middle of the whole thing."

Nowak's comments have been echoed by the club's CEO Nick Sakiewicz, who insists individual players do not win trophies.

"If we can give a player an opportunity like this and capitalise from it and reinvest that money into the team to get better, we'll do that," Sakiewicz said.

"I think it's important for us to understand that we don't build our club around any one player. It's not the Union way. We're a team first and everyone knows 'team' wins championships. Individual players don't."
