Bolton boss Owen Coyle has confirmed he has taken Philadelphia Union forward Sebastien Le Toux on trial.

Le Toux revealed on Tuesday that he was on his way to England, with reports in America suggesting he was heading to the Reebok Stadium.

The 28-year-old has scored 25 goals in 62 MLS games for the Union and Coyle admits he is keen to take a look at the player before making a decision on whether to sign the striker or not.

"We have received good reports about Sebastien, so we thought we would give him an opportunity to come into the group," Coyle said.

"He will train with us for a week and we will see where we are after that."
