West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce has rejected speculation linking him with a move for Bolton captain Kevin Davies.
Davies' future has been under the microscope in recent weeks after the 34-year-old failed to start any of the club's last four Premier League games.
He was recalled to the side for the FA Cup draw at Macclesfield Town last weekend, but lasted only an hour before being replaced by David Ngog.
Wanderers boss Owen Coyle has already denied reports over a possible sale of the former Southampton forward and Allardyce, who brought Davies to the Reebok Stadium in 2003, says he has not made any approach for the one-time England international.
"There's nothing in that as far as I'm concerned," Allardyce said.
"I haven't spoken to Owen Coyle. At the moment I don't know anything about that scenario."
