Tuncay Sanli has finally been cleared to make his Bolton debut after being granted a work permit.

The Turkey international joined Wanderers on a season-long loan deal from German side VfL Wolfsburg earlier in the month, but was forced to wait for international clearance before being allowed to complete the move.

He flew to the British Embassy in Dusseldorf last Tuesday in a bid to speed up the process and after a week of waiting, the 29-year-old can now be officially named as a Bolton player.

"Work permit sorted out, finally," Tuncay posted on his official Twitter page.

"On way to airport to catch the first flight back to UK. Can't wait to train with the boys. Bring it on."

Should he prove his fitness, Tuncay could make his Wanderers debut in Wednesday night's Carling Cup tie with Macclesfield Town at the Reebok Stadium.
