Manchester City defender Dedryck Boyata would reject a move to Bolton, according to his father Beinvenu Boyata.
Boyata is highly thought of at the City of Manchester Stadium, but reports suggest he may have been used in a potential deal which would see Wanderers defender Gary Cahill move to Eastlands.
His father, however, insists the 20-year-old will be moving to the Reebok Stadium, although a move to Everton could arise if the situation was right.
"If Dedryck will get the promise from coach (Roberto) Mancini that he will get sufficient playing opportunities he will stay for sure," Bienvenu told Het Laatste Nieuws.
"There could be a deal made with Gary Cahill from Bolton, but Dedryck doesn't want to go to that club.
"Everton are showing interest in him as well, and they are very much an option for him."
