Bolton have rejected an offer of around £3million from Wigan Athletic for goalkeeper Ali Al Habsi.

The Latics had a £2million bid rejected last week, but came back with an improved offer on Friday.

Al Habsi looks set to leave the Reebok Stadium this summer, but Wanderers are thought to be holding out for a fee of £5million.

That fee may prove to be a stumbling block for Roberto Martinez's side and with Aston Villa also said to be interested in the player, speculation looks set to continue over the future of the Oman international.
