The curtain comes down on the Premier League season on Sunday, with Bolton playing out their campaign at home to Manchester City.

Wanderers are on a poor run of form having lost five of their last six matches, including the last four, and will hope to stop the rot as they attempt to secure a top ten finish for the first time in four years.

City, who won the FA Cup last weekend, will also be hopeful of victory, knowing three points at the Reebok Stadium will see them finish inside the top three of the top division for the first time since 1977.

Daniel Sturridge should start against his former club alongside Kevin Davies in attack, with Johan Elmander expected to miss out following the announcement that he will be leaving the club in the summer.

Elmander's possible exclusion could pave the way for Tamir Cohen to come back into the side. Cohen impressed as a substitute in the defeat at Blackpool last time out and could play alongside Ricardo Gardner. Cohen and Gardner are also out of contract and could be playing their final games for the club.

Matt Taylor and Lee Chung-Yong should play on the wings, with Martin Petrov and Rodrigo Moreno likely to have to settle for a place on the bench.

Paul Robinson, Gary Cahill, Zat Knight and Gretar Steinsson should provide the cover for Jussi Jaaskelainen in goal, with Cahill likely to be playing his last game for the Trotters.

Fabrice Muamba will be handed a late fitness test on a hamstring injury but he is likely to miss out, joining Stuart Holden, Sean Davis and Sam Ricketts on the sidelines.

City will be without Jerome Boateng as he continues his recovery from a knee injury, meaning Gareth Barry could be set for a return to the side.

Mario Balotelli was rested for the midweek victory over Stoke, but he is also set for a recall where he could play alongside Carlos Tevez, who has confirmed his intentions to leave Eastlands in the summer.

FA Cup hero Yaya Toure should play alongside Barry, Nigel De Jong and Adam Johnson in midfield, while Micah Richards, Vincent Kompany, Joleon Lescott and Aleksandar Kolarov provide the defensive cover for Joe Hart in goal.

City won the reverse meeting between the two sides earlier this season, running out 1-0 victors at the City of Manchester Stadium at the start of December. The corresponding fixture last season finished in a 3-3 draw.
