Reports on Wednesday suggest Lee Chung-Yong has signed a new three-year contract at Bolton Wanderers.

Sources from Goal.com Korea say Wanderers chairman Phil Gartside flew to China recently to meet Kim Seung-Tae, CEO of Chung-Yong's representatives - TI Sports, where a deal was agreed and signed by all parties involved.

These reports suggest Chung-Yong will earn upwards of £1.7million a year, making him one of the top earners at the club.

Chung-Yong has made 43 appearances for Bolton since his move from FC Seoul in August 2009 and has scored five goals for the club.
