El-Hadji Diouf will come under the spotlight on Sunday when Bolton visit Blackburn Rovers and he has admitted he is focused on helping Rovers to three points.

The Senegal forward made 135 appearances for Wanderers between 2004 and 2008, scoring 24 goals for the club prior to a £2.5million move to Sunderland.

After a short spell in the North East, he returned to the North West with Rovers in January 2009 under the guidance of former Trotters boss Sam Allardyce.

The 29-year-old is still highly thought of by Bolton fans but he admits he will be looking to be on the winning side on Sunday afternoon.

"I've got a great relationship with the Trotters fans and I really don't want them to go down," Diouf told The Sun.

"But my job now is to win the match for Blackburn, as we still feel we can make next season's Europa League.

"If I can score on Sunday I will not be celebrating it like I normally do - but I do want three points for my current club.

"Even though I have a good relationship with Bolton, I will take the opportunity to score if I can."
