Bolton have confirmed the departures of backroom staff members Chris Evans, Steve Wigley and Alan Cork.

After 17 years at Wolverhampton Wanderers, Evans moved to Bolton in October 2007 following the managerial appointment of Gary Megson.

However, after a meeting with new boss Owen Coyle, he will no longer work for the club as Coyle looks to recruit his own staff.

Wigley and Cork both joined the club in the summer of 2008, but also leave the club with the thanks of chairman Phil Gartside.

"I would like to thank both Steve and Alan for their work during their time at Bolton Wanderers, and wish them both the very best for the future," he said.

"Chris (Evans) was 100 percent committed to the cause of Bolton Wanderers and I want to place on record our thanks and great appreciation for all his efforts during his time at the Football Club."
