Gretar Steinsson believes a recent players' meeting has been the catalyst for Bolton's two-game unbeaten spell.

Since the defeat at Wolves a fortnight ago, Wanderers have picked up four points out of six after a draw with Manchester City followed up with victory over West Ham United.

While he is refusing to get carried away with those results, Steinsson hopes they can inspire the players onto a lengthly unbeaten run.

"Sometimes you just need to set everyone so they are looking at the same thing, get our aim right," said Steinsson.

"We just needed to put in a little bit of extra work and a little bit extra pressure on ourselves - even though there is already a lot of pressure on us.

"We haven't been doing as well as we wanted and we need to do better, we know it, and the last two games we have been getting the points.

"We all care. We want to do better, we want to do well for the team and for the team to do well."
