Bolton boss Gary Megson has refused to rule out the permanent signing of striker Ivan Klasnic.

Klasnic has become a popular figure with Wanderers fans, with five goals to his name already this season.

The 29-year-old is on a season-long loan from French side Nantes, with reports suggesting a £1.4million deal may be in the offering in the summer.

When asked about the possible signing of the Croatia international, Megson admitted he was happy to bide his time and not rush into any decisions just yet.

"Ivan hasn't mentioned anything and we've not mentioned it," Megson said.

"There are a lot of things that need to be discussed before we get to that point.

"He is here for the full season and we will see where we go after that."
