Adam Bogdan has admitted he would like to become Bolton's first choice goalkeeper in the future and hopes to make a success of his loan deal at Crewe Alexandra.

The 22-year-old Hungarian moved to Gresty Road on Monday, despite reported interest from Leeds United, and is determined to make a name for himself over the next month.

"I'm happy to join Crewe," Bogdan told Pepsifoci.hu.

"I want to be Bolton's goalkeeper and in order to reach this goal I need games for my constant development.

"It's a great thing that many teams wanted to get me, which means that I'm on the right way and it's worth training hard.

"I want to help Crewe because I'm grateful for the chance I have got from them."

Bogdan made his Crewe debut in Tuesday night's 3-2 home defeat to Bury.
