Fabrice Muamba admits he enjoyed his spell at Birmingham City, but will be looking for victory over them on Saturday afternoon.

Bolton travel to St.Andrews, marking Muamba's first return since leaving the Midlands club last year, and the 21-year-old admits he has no regrets about leaving the club who have him his Premier League break.

"I'm just looking forward to trying to get the three points on Saturday," Muamba told the club's official website.

"I've improved in a lot of ways since I left because I was still a boy when I was at Birmingham.

"At Bolton I'm surrounded by a lot of players who have been there and done it in the Premier League and that has helped me to learn, and it is the same with the manager and the coaching staff.

"I have no regrets in leaving Birmingham. I enjoyed my time whilst I was there but now I'm more settled down and I'm happy with my football."

Muamba joined Bolton from Birmingham for a fee of around £5million in June 2008.
