Bolton look set to sign Sean Davis after he rejected a new deal at Portsmouth.
Wanderers had an offer for the 29-year-old midfielder rejected in January, but with his contract set to expire at Fratton Park, it is understood that a move looks likely.
Pompey chief executive Peter Storrie has confirmed Davis has rejected a new deal at the club and looks set to become Gary Megson's first signing of the summer.
"Davis has been offered but has rejected and I think he is joining Bolton," Storrie said.
Davis has made 116 appearances for Portsmouth, scoring 3 goals since his move from Tottenham in January 2006.
