Bolton have shrugged off suggestions that Gary Cahill was involved in a bust-up with former Aston Villa team mate Gareth Barry.
Cahill was called into the England squad for the first time during the week and reports surfaced on Friday, claiming that he had been involved in an incident with Manchester City's new £12million signing.
However, Wanderers officials have denied any such problem, as has England boss Fabio Capello.
"I was a player. I am a manager," Capello said.
"During the training sometimes, some players after one tackle push the other one but yesterday (Thursday) I saw nothing. Absolutely nothing."
Cahill was not involved as England recorded a 4-0 victory over Kazakhstan on Saturday afternoon.
