Bolton have confirmed that a testimonial match for Jussi Jaaskelainen will be held in August.
Scottish side Hibernian, who are managed by former Wanderers favourite Mixu Paatelainen, will travel to the Reebok Stadium on Saturday 8th August.
Jaaskelainen has made 425 appearances for the Trotters, putting him 13th in the list of all time appearances for the club.
Speaking about the honour, the Finland international insists he is remaining focused on the rest of the season before he can look forward to August's testimonial.
"There are three more important fixtures remaining this season which the team and I are fully focused on achieving as many points from as possible," Jaaskelainen told the club's official website.
"However, my testimonial is a day for the supporters and I am looking forward to the occasion immensely.
"I am extremely proud of what I have achieved at Bolton Wanderers and it has been tremendous to represent this club for as long as I have done.
"It is great that my fellow countryman Mixu Paatelainen will be bringing his team to Bolton and it will be a good curtain raiser for the new season."
