Torino have announced the permanent signing of Blerim Dzemaili from Bolton.

Dzemaili, who turned 23 last Sunday, has impressed during his loan spell in Italy and Torino president Urbano Cairo has confirmed the Switzerland international will stay with the club.

"We have used our buy-out clause to sign Blerim Dzemaili from Bolton," Cairo told Sisport.

"He showed great qualities as a person and as a footballer. He is a top player with a bright future.

"He is part of our plans for the future."

Blighted by a serious knee injury upon his arrival at the Reebok, Dzemaili made just one appearance for Bolton, in last season's FA Cup defeat at the hands of Sheffield United.
