Reports in Italy suggest that Fiorentina are looking into the possibility of signing Bolton's Blerim Dzemaili.

The 22-year-old agreed a pre-contract with Wanderers back in February 2007, but suffered a serious knee ligament injury prior to completing the move later that summer.

He managed just one first team appearance in his debut season in England before joining Torino on a season-long loan at the start of this campaign.

The Swiss international has impressed during his stint in Serie A and the player admits he wants his future sorted sooner rather than later.

"I belong to Bolton, so it is not in my hands but I won't go on loan. I want a permanent move," Dzemaili told Sky Sports.

"At the end of the season Bolton will tell me what to do but it is good to be linked to the club (Fiorentina).

"It makes me feel happy and tells me that I am doing the right thing."
