Bolton boss Gary Megson has apologised to referee Howard Webb after he was dismissed in the 1-1 draw at West Bromwich Albion.
Matt Taylor had given Wanderers the lead at the Hawthorns, but a late strike from Robert Koren which deflected off Danny Shittu meant both sides had to settle for a point.
With five minutes of stoppage time added, Megson was looking to bring Ebi Smolarek on as a late substitute, and his anger at the match officials lead to his touchline dismissal for the closing stages.
"I got the hump and lost my head a bit and I've been sent off," Megson told Sky Sports News.
"I have apologised to Howard Webb. I shouldn't be like that but you get carried away.
"We should have won that game. We've had a lot more opportunities than they have.
"(Scott) Carson, in West Brom's goal has been a lot busier than Jussi (Jaaskelainen).
"They haven't had a shot on target throughout the 90 minutes and even the goal they scored from was going wide until it hits Danny on the thigh."
