Kevin Davies believes Bolton can take maximum points from their next three games and establish themselves in the top half of the table.

With games against Fulham, West Bromwich Albion and Middlesbrough to come over the next month, the Wanderers skipper is hopeful any talk of relegation will be quashed and push the club towards their top half target.

"We are in this position now and we feel that we can push on and get into the top-ten," Davies told the club's official website.

"That's something we want to do - we don't want to be in a relegation battle.

"We have to keep winning our home games especially and we feel that with the fixtures coming up, we can pick up a minimum of seven points, but of course we are going all guns blazing for the entire nine points.

"The manager has tried to get it into us that we don't want to be looking over our shoulders.

"We said a month ago that we feel we have a good run-in and that we've played most of the big boys, with just Chelsea and Aston Villa left which will be tough.

"Apart from those two fixtures, we believe we can win the rest of our games."
