Bolton make their first ever trip to the Britannia Stadium on Wednesday as they go in search of a third successive league win.

After back-to-back victories over West Ham United and Newcastle United, Wanderers have moved into the top half of the Premier League table.

Gary Megson could make one change from the side that beat the Magpies on Sunday, with Ricardo Gardner expected to start in the place of Fabrice Muamba.

Andy O'Brien should retain his place alongside Gary Cahill in central defence, with Sebastien Puygrenier on the bench.

Johan Elmander and Kevin Davies are expected to spearhead the Wanderers attack, with Matt Taylor playing on the right of midfield.

Gretar Steinsson has recovered from a knock to head and will continue at right back.

Tony Pulis will welcome back Rory Delap for the game at the Britannia after he completed a three-match suspension.

Ricardo Fuller and Glenn Whelan are both pushing for starts after coming off the bench against Aston Villa at the weekend, while goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen is a doubt with a head injury picked up in the same game.

Former Wanderer Abdoulaye Faye will have a late fitness test on a back injury, with Ibrahima Sonko ready to deputise should the Senegal international not play.
