After a two week break, Bolton return to action on Saturday when they host West Ham United at the Reebok Stadium.

The Trotters have never lost against the Hammers at the Reebok in the eight games since 1997, a run which they will be looking to extend.

Gary Megson will be boosted by the returning Johan Elmander and Gavin McCann who have both missed the last four games through injury.

Nicky Hunt has also recovered from an ankle injury and is back in contention, while Tamir Cohen could make his first appearance of the season after a long term injury.

Mark Davies is available after shaking off a slight knee complaint, but Ricardo Vaz Te and Joey O'Brien remain on the sidelines with respective knee injuries.

On his first managerial visit to the Reebok, Gianfranco Zola's Hammers side will be without Carlton Cole, who has an ankle injury.

Luis Boa Morte is also out of the game with a groin problem, as is former Blackburn defender Lucas Neill who is suspended.

Danny Gabbidon, Kieron Dyer and Dean Ashton are long term injury casualties, meaning a debut could be handed to Czech Republic international Radoslav Kovac.
