Portsmouth are reportedly considering an offer from Bolton for midfielder Sean Davis.

The 29-year-old is out of contract at Fratton Park in the summer and is stalling on penning a new deal, meaning Portsmouth boss Tony Adams may be forced into selling.

After losing Kevin Nolan to Newcastle United, Wanderers are hoping to persuade Portsmouth to do business and have made an offer of around £2million.

A decision is expected to be made on Sunday and the player should be at the Reebok Stadium for talks and a medical on Monday ahead of the transfer deadline.
