Blerim Dzemaili has announced his intentions to leave Bolton and make his loan at Italian side Torino a permanent arrangement.

After picking up a serious knee injury prior to completing his move to Bolton, the 22-year-old made just one appearance for the club, in last season's FA Cup defeat to Sheffield United.

He was sent on loan to Torino over the summer, where he has become an immediate fan favourite and Dzemaili admits he is focused on helping his side fight against relegation.

"I'm still angry with Bolton," he said.

"I still have contact with a few directors and teammates, but I am still angry with Bolton and don't want to think about them any more.

"I am a player at Toro and not Bolton. I am grateful to Torino for allowing me to be reborn as a player and I'm determined to save the team from relegation."

A permanent deal had been rumoured, but as yet, nothing has been signed and the deal remains a loan one.
