Ali Al Habsi has put an end to speculation about his future by signing a new deal at Bolton.
The Oman international goalkeeper, who celebrates his 27th birthday on Tuesday, was due to fall out of contract at the end of the season, but will now remain at the club until the summer of 2013.
Al Habsi's chances at Bolton have been limited due to the success of Jussi Jaaskelainen, but he caught the public eye after a string of impressive performances last season.
He had been linked with a January move to Blackburn Rovers or Tottenham Hotspur, but the 26-year-old has now committed his future to Bolton.
