Jussi Jaaskelainen's future will be sorted out in the summer, according to his agent Peter Harrison.

The Finnish international's contract expires at the end of the season and talks over a new deal have not been forthcoming after Jaaskelainen rejected an offer last year.

New manager Gary Megson wants to keep hold of the club's longest serving player, but Jaaskelainen's agent says Megson will wait to see what league his side will be in next season before making any offers.

"He's been told by Bolton that, until they know which league they're in, they aren't in a position to negotiate anything," said Harrison.

"Jussi is very relaxed and is just concentrating on playing well for Bolton to help them get the points they need," added his agent.

It is understood Bolton have turned down a number of approaches for Jaaskelainen as they want to keep him until the end of the season rather than cash in on him this month.
