Andranik Teymourian admits to being excited by the arrival of new manager Gary Megson and is targeting a place in the Bolton first team.
The Iran international made just one appearance under Sammy Lee's management despite impressing under Sam Allardyce last season.
Andranik believes Megson will use him more frequently and the playmaker is willing to work hard to reach his goal of first team football.
"I hope that, with the arrival of Megson at Bolton, I get back to being in the starting line-up again," Teymourian was quoted by IranSportsPress.
"When a few of Leicester's midfielders were sidelined due to injury, Megson asked Bolton for my transfer and Bolton officials rejected his offer.
"This shows he has seen my games and believes in my game."
