La Liga outfit Osasuna are interested in signing Wanderers midfielder Andranik.

The Iran international is out of contract at the end of the season, prompting speculation about his future.

The 24-year-old has confirmed the interest of the Spanish club, but knows he is contracted to Bolton Wanderers.

"Osasuna club contacted me through one of its agents and inquired into my situation, I told them that I had a contract with Bolton for a year," Andranik revealed.

"They stated that I could begin my discussions for induction into the club if I wished."

Andranik realises Osasuna have a successful track record in Spain and also on the European front.

"I know the Spanish league is one of the best in the world, and Osasuna was one of the best teams of the league in the past years. I have always wanted to one day play in Spain.

"Despite everything I don't expect to go to Osasuna as for the present, I prefer to stay in England. But Osasuna are a great team."

Despite only figuring once this season, it is understood manager Sammy Lee is willing to offer the player a new contract before the turn of the year.
