After catching the eye of Bolton boss Colin Todd during the 1998 World Cup, Ricardo Gardner joined Bolton later that summer for a fee of £1million from Jamaican side Harbour View.
Despite suffering numerous career threatening knee injuries since his arrival, Gardner is still a first-team regular at the club and is capable of playing in both defence or midfield.
Gardner is a firm fans favourite and is currently the second longest serving player behind Jussi Jaaskelainen.
