Lee Chung-Yong admits he doesn't want to leave Bolton, but one day hopes to play at the top level of European football.
The 22-year-old won many admirers with his form last season and also caught the eye during the World Cup, scoring two goals as South Korea crashed out in the last 16.
Recent reports have linked the player with a move to Liverpool and while he admits he hasn't given any thought to leaving Wanderers, it is likely to happen one day as he seeks to fulfill his ambition.
"There's still much for me to learn in Bolton, so I haven't given any serious thought to the matter of a transfer," Lee told Yonhap.
"All I can do is my best to work on with what's given to me, chances will come and I will take them.
"Money is important, and it'd be good to play for a big team like one in the Champions League, but most of all I want to go where I can develop myself."
After being given extended leave following his World Cup duties, Lee, along with Danny Shittu, will return to pre-season training tomorrow ahead of Wednesday's trip to Oldham Athletic.
