After scoring the winning goal in Bolton's 2-1 victory at Birmingham City, Lee Chung-Yong has thanked his parents for their attendance.
Indeed, his parents were in attendance at St.Andrews and saw their son score his first goal in English football, much to the delight of the player.
"I am 100 percent happy - I helped my team win and we have come away with three points," Chung-Yong told the club's official website.
"I was very frustrated when we conceded because I thought that it was my fault, but then I was very happy to score our winning goal.
"My parents arrived yesterday and were at the game today. It was their first time at an English Premier League match, and I would like to think they played their part by praying for me to score my first goal for Bolton Wanderers."
