Owen Coyle has confirmed the club have had no offers for Gary Cahill and that he expects the defender to be at Bolton next season.
Cahill is reportedly attracting interest from the likes of Liverpool and Arsenal, with talk of a £15million move being mentioned.
However, Coyle admits he knows nothing about any discussions and believes the 24-year-old will be at the Reebok Stadium in August.
"I don't know anything about it," Coyle told The Bolton News. "No-one has spoken to me.
"There was also speculation about Liverpool and Lee Chung-Yong, wasn't there?
"I can assure you there has been no dialogue (with Liverpool) at my level. And I hope I would have been told had it gone any higher.
"You can't stop people admiring your players, but I see no reason why Gary Cahill shouldn't be at Bolton Wanderers next season.
"He will continue to get better. Hopefully, we can help him improve as a player and that will be of benefit to Gary Cahill and to the club."
Cahill has been in impressive form once again this season but looks set to miss out on England's World Cup squad this summer after a blood clot halted his season back in February.
