The Bolton players returned from their summer break on Thursday, for the start of pre-season training.
Summer signings Martin Petrov and Robbie Blake were both on show, as were the likes of Joey O'Brien and Sean Davis, who will be hoping to figure more this season following respective injury troubles.
Nicky Hunt and Danny Ward were also at the Euxton training ground, with the latter hoping to force his way into Owen Coyle's first-team plans next season after an impressive loan stint at Swindon Town.
The most notable absentees were Stuart Holden, Danny Shittu and last season's 'Player of the Year', Lee Chung-Yong. The trio have all been granted extra time off following their World Cup exploits and will link up with the squad prior to their mini-tour of America and Canada later this month.
Wanderers kick-off their friendly schedule on July 14th when they face Charlotte Eagles.
