Bolton Duo Set For Portsmouth

Reports on Monday evening suggest Bolton pair Gavin McCann and Danny Shittu will join Portsmouth on Tuesday.
It will come as no surprise to see Shittu leave, having made just 12 appearances since his £2million move from Watford last summer, however the news regarding McCann will come as a bit of a surprise to the Wanderers fans.
The former Aston Villa midfielder has made 76 appearances for Bolton, scoring 3 goals, including memorable strikes in the UEFA Cup against Crvena Zvezda and Sporting Lisbon respectively.
It is understood a joint deal for the pair is close to completion and both players could make their debuts in Pompey's trip to Birmingham City on Wednesday night.
