The season is over, the polls are closed and Burnden Aces are pleased to announce Lee Chung-Yong as your 2009/10 Player of the Season.
The South Korea international has been one of the finds of the season amongst the English top-flight, with former manager Gary Megson paying in the region of £2.2million for the right-winger last August.
He has scored five goals in 40 appearances for the Wanderers this season and beat off competition from Fabrice Muamba and Kevin Davies, who finished second and third respectively, to claim the prize.
It is the first time in three years that Davies has not walked away with the award, meaning Chung-Yong becomes the fourth player to win the Burnden Aces 'Player of the Season' poll since it's launch in 2006, following in the footsteps of Davies, Jussi Jaaskelainen and Kevin Nolan.
