BOLTON WANDERERS v MANCHESTER CITY

Bolton and Manchester City meet at the Reebok for a place in the Carling Cup quarter finals.

The North-West derby is a welcome change of scene for Bolton who are currently struggling in the Premier League.

City meanwhile are flying, currently lying in 3rd place despite a heavy 6-0 defeat at Chelsea on Saturday.

New Wanderers manager Gary Megson will be looking for his first win at the helm after a 1-1 draw with Aston Villa on Sunday.

Bolton have injury problems, with Nicolas Anelka missing through a hamstring problem, along with Blerim Dzemaili and Ricardo Vaz Te.

Heidar Helguson and Christian Wilhelmsson are back in contention after their respective injury problems, while Stelios is pushing for a start.

Sven Goran Eriksson is expected to name a strong side for the trip to the Reebok.

Swedish goalkeeper Andreas Isaksson will start ahead of Joe Hart after conceding 6 at the weekend and Kasper Schmeichel is on a month's loan at Cardiff City.

Martin Petrov has a toe problem and will probably miss the game, while form player Elano may start upfront for the visitors.
