FULHAM v BOLTON WANDERERS

Bolton travel to Fulham this evening with both sides looking for their first points of the season.

The hosts lost their opening game 2-1 at the Emirates Stadium where a last minute Aleksandr Hleb goal gave Arsenal victory.

But Bolton will also be hopeful of getting their 3-1 defeat to Newcastle out of their system by getting a good result at Craven Cottage tonight.

The visitors will have to make changes to the side which suffered the defeat, Kevin Davies and Ricardo Vaz Te both picked up injuries in the game and had to be replaced, with Davies out for up to six weeks with a torn hamstring being a big blow.

However, the injuries could mean a recall for El-Hadji Diouf and a full debut for Heidar Helguson, who recently joined the club from Fulham.

Abdoulaye Meite has recovered from a back injury which ruled him out of the Newcastle game and is expected to take the place of Abdoulaye Faye in defence with speculation rife about the Senegalese international's future.

New signing Andy O'Brien isn't expected to play with manager Sammy Lee claiming he is short of match fitness, but may feature at the weekend against his old club, Portsmouth.

Daniel Braaten and Christian Wilhelmsson have received their international clearances and impressed for the reserves on Monday. Both have been included in the squad and are expected to feature at some stage.

Fulham manager Lawrie Sanchez is expected to name the same side which lost at Arsenal on Sunday.

Goalkeeper Antti Niemi has a wrist problem and is expected to miss the game, with Tony Warner taking over, having impressed in the defeat against the Gunners.

Summer signings Chris Baird, Paul Konchesky, Steve Davis, Diomansy Kamara and David Healy are all set to make their home debuts for the club.

Long-term injury victim Jimmy Bullard will miss the game after spending the best part of a year out with a serious knee injury, but is thought to be close to a return in the next few weeks.

Squads:
Fulham:
