Bolton's UEFA Cup fate could be decided after their game with Crvena Zvezda in Belgrade. Due to a poor start to the Premier League season, Wanderers boss Gary Megson has opted to leave six of his star players in England with one eye on Sunday's visit of Wigan Athletic. Nicolas Anelka, Kevin Davies, Jussi Jaaskelainen, Kevin Nolan, Andy O'Brien and Ricardo Gardner have all stayed in England, along with Ivan Campo who is ineligible for European competition. Nicky Hunt and Danny Guthrie are set to return after missing the weekend defeat to Liverpool in what will be different looking Bolton side. Ali Al-Habsi impressed in Munich earlier in the competition and should start ahead of Ian Walker who will be on the bench. Hunt is expected to return in defence alongside Abdoulaye Meite, Gerald Cid and Jlloyd Samuel, with the former Villa star making his European debut for the club. With Guthrie expected to start, Christian Wilhelmsson, Daniel Braaten and Andranik will be hoping for the nod with Stelios Giannakopoulos and El-Hadji Diouf both hoping to start up front. Wanderers need a win in Serbia to have any chance of qualification and hope results elsewhere go their way. If Bolton win and Aris Thessaloniki beat SC Braga in Greece, Megson's side will qualify for the last 32. Crvena Zvezda, formerly Red Star Belgrade have lost their opening two games in the group, with their last month's defeat to Aris prompting the departure of Milorad Kosanovic. Aleksandar Jankovic will be in charge for the first time in Europe and he will be hoping to take his side's domestic form into Europe and move up the standings.
