Just wonderin what everyone's thoughts were on the players released.

(For those unaware)

It was obviously time for Campo to move on, shame about stelios really as i believe he can still be the impact sub but hes not going to be happy playing that role. the one that bothers me most is andranik cos in the games he's played he's looked like he could do a job. he's not been given his chance for one reason or another. If Ando signs for another prem club and does well like ive been expecting him too then we'll have made a massive mistake.

I agree about Campo. Shown this season that he's forgotten how to kick a ball. Age has caught up with him, I wish him all the best wherever he goes.

Stelios I probably would have offered another year but he obviously wasn't in Megson's plans, as shown by his lack of playing time this year.

Andranik is a tough one. At times he has looked like a good player but at others he just looked lost. Big Sam played him in a bit-part role, but neither Lee nor Megson fancied him so probably time to get him off the books. I think he's probably a Championship player.

As for the others who have been offered deals, Gardner is probably a one year deal, Sinclair has looked promising so probably two years. I'm happy Jussi and Walker have both been offered deals as I'd guess Jussi is already on his way and if Walker is happy to sit on the bench, we have a quality replacement if he ever needs to stand in.
