Sorry fella - I was trying to give you a warm welcome and ended up questioning your sexuality - no wonder we don't get loads of new posters on here!!!

3 players there all gone or seem to be heading for "crisis" club portsmouth who would very much improve our squad and are all fairly obvious targets yet we're linked with andy carroll and kevin nolan...its beyond me.

The only one id be happy with out of that bunch is Zenden. O'Hara is no better than what we already have in midfield and Zaki's attitude woukd make me wary of taking him on, id rather we took a chance with this Klasnic. Oh and Carroll wouldnt be too bad a signing IMO, well aslong as he got rid of his girly hair anyway.

Bolo Zenden: Meh. We should be looking at younger options IMO.

Amr Zaki: More trouble than he's worth. He tends to stop scoring during the winter months as well.

Jamie O'Hara: Would have been a decent signing. But I wont lose any sleep over missing out...

That's just my opinion of course. Cool

i rate o'hara quite highly especially with the size of the squad we have and it's only a loan. I know what you mean about zaki but with the options we have up front not sure we can let attitude problems stop us getting anyone that can add something to the team.

Ideally others would be better but i'm not seeing much happening at the moment and its just a little frustrating.

Would say no to Zenden and Zaki and I see O'Hara as a younger Matt Taylor. We've not got the room to accomodate O'Hara either. I do rate him though.

Personally I think O'Hara could be a good signing.

Maybe we should re-sign Danny Guthrie from Newcastle? He's just scored a good goal against Leicester!!

Guthrie is pretty much on a par with Mark Davies i reckon, not the sort of midfielder we're after really. Be alright as cover but we have enough of that already in midfield!

I would take Zaki any day. Sod his off-field problems. £3m? What a bargain. If he got us the same amount of goals as he did for Wigan last season then £3m is a bargain, and he's a damn sight better than Elmander!

Just reported on Sky news, Bolton have spent the least on transfers this summer, maybe we as fans just have to face up to it, the club  just dont have the money available  :'(

There will be no signings today other than people on loan.

It's quite clear the board don't want Megson wasting anymore money (a la Elmander) so are holding onto the cash until the new man is installed before the January transfer window.

I didn't even realise tuncay had gone to stoke...another player i really wanted to see here. Hopefully Klasnic will sign but that won't be enough i think we still need someone like emana if possible. Hopefully more than one coming in today. (not holding my breath though)

Kamara from Fulham is reportedly on Megsons radar. Her would be a good signing in my opinion.

SSN say Klasnic will be done before 5pm & an attacking midfielder will be joining too!

Klasnic on loan Diomansy Kamara maybe too...neither are exactly prolific infront of goal. havn't heard anything about an attacking mid though.

Kamara looked to be in the best form of his career at the start of last season and then snapped his knee ligaments.

I'd see it as a bit of a gamble but on loan I'd happily have him.

I hope Klasnic can be the player we all want and need, but he's not really that fast. I wish Megson would realize we need pace and someone who has variety and a good passing range in midfield.

As for Kamara [if we sign him up on loan] who's place will he take up on the bench? Hopefully Robinson's Smiley

We could still sign Mark Viduka as he's a free agent.

Nothing to lose, everything to gain.

He went down with Newcastle.

Enough said.

IMO Viduka is still a quality player, he has just been very unlucky with injuries. I wouldnt mind having him although would he be willing to take a wage cut? Im not too sure...

I'd have taken him a couple of years ago but not now. An ageing fatso who spends more time on the treatment table than Ricardo Vaz Te, no thanks!
