Thought we played really well tonight, we could of been 3.0 down after 30 mins but we held on and got to grips with the game after that finishing the better side and should of won thru the penalty that was never given.
Everyone played well tonight. Petrov had bad first half and good second. Stiensson had his best game in a while. Wheater and knight look pretty solid. Davies and reo-coker where great. Even SKD and tuncay played well when they came on! N'gog, did everything but score.
Blackburn also lost which is always good. Things are looking up!

Every point we take off those below us is a result, a battling performance from the lads. Knight at times looked unmoved as balls were slid in behind him yet the rest of the defence were good. Keep building the points and we shall be fine.

I thought it was a good game tonight. You won't see many 0-0 games that entertaining. We could've been 3 down after the first 15 minutes but after that we played really well. The post and bar saved us but Ngog and Mark Davies probably should've scored for us. I thought we should've had 2 penalties as well. Chris Foy is a twat and gave us nothing all night. Reo Coker was brilliant.
Come On You Whites!!!

Happy with that. We should be on a high going into the Norwich game whilst they should be on a downer after getting spanked 3-0 by Sunderland.
Could be a big match. Three points would be massive for us but also a big dent in their confidence. Need as many relegation candidates as possible.
Really need a minimum of 4pts from our next 2 games if we want to keep the momentum going.

SURE, EVERYBODY PLAYED WELL TODAY, AND I WAS PARTICULARLY INVOLVED WITH THE WAY REO-COKER BOSSED THE MID-FIELD, MARK DAVIES WAS BRILLIANT, N-GOG IS PROVING NOT TO BE A WASTE OF MONEY, DIDNT SEE MUCH OF MUAMBA, ALSO HE DIDN'T MAKE MISTAKES. WHEATER WAS PROLIFIC TODAY TOOO, A MATCH WE COULD HAVE WON, BUT I'M PROUD WITH THE RESULT THOUGH.

Very impressed with how we came back in to the game tonight. If that was early season we would have got pasted. We have definitely turned the corner now, you can be sure of it.

As already said, we could have been 2 or 3-0 down in the first half hour but we saw out their early pressure and apart from a couple of van Persie moments, never looked likely to concede.
At the other end, we got forward but similar to Arsenal, never really looked like scoring.
Seeing as neither goalkeeper had that much to do, I think 0-0 was a fair and good result. You'd have taken it at 7:45 this evening anyway!
Hopefully we can take some confidence into the Norwich game on Saturday and come away with at least another point. The Wigan game the week after is massive and one that we really have to win.
Things are picking up but there is still a long way to go.

Best 0-0 I have seen in ages, after 15mins I thought we where going to get slaughtered, Sam was not coping and time after time was found lacking but but he kept going and justified his selection, Arsenal looked a class ask, they played a no rush passing game and it was good to watch and learn from, they had a few chances mainly in the 2nd half but so did we and the longer it stayed goalless the more confident we became without taking to many risks, I thought Ngog was superb and very unlucky not to score, Boggie looked confident and has made the no1 shirt his own (I hope) Captain NRC was superb, bossed the game and unlike SKD is vocal, What a change in fortunes, a few weeks ago those Arsenal chances would have gone in, A couple of good penalty shouts fell on deaf ears for us but it didn't spoil a great game, the future is bright, the future is WHITE!

You can start picking my lotto numbers! A very entertaining game of football, grew into the game as the match went on. NRC was outstanding in the midfield allowing Sparky to pick the ball up and have a few runs at the Gooners defence, N'gog looked decent (though I am still convinced it won't take Sordell long to take him out of the side if we continure with 4-5-1). One point gained over our relegation rivals and all teams below us all losing, so a good night all round.

Fair play to Coyle, he seems to have found his best team and become less naive with his tactics.
I just hope after playing the big boys this month that we don't go back to our usual bad ways against teams like Norwich and Wigan, as we need 4 points at least against those 2 teams going into Chelsea away.

I thought we played well last night without properly threatening them. We got ourselves into some good positions but didn't properly test their keeper. However, the chances we did have we could still quite easily have won the game.
Bogdan looked very assured and confident between the sticks. His distribution and catching is good at the moment, but hopefully he can learn off Jussi to make those great saves that he can make that win you games. Saying that he made a great stop from Oxlade-Chamberlain.
Wheater and Knight looked solid at the back. Already seemed to have struck up a good relationship and understanding. If we had have got rid of Cahill before September, surely we wouldn't have less points than what we do now?
N'Gog keeps working hard up top and running the channels well and Petrov is getting better and better and I think he's done enough to earn himself a new contract.
All in all 4 points from Liverpool and Arsenal is great, but we have to try and get the same amount from Norwich and Wigan now going into Chelsea and Citeh

That's the big one. Most of us had written off January and we all thought anything from Everton, Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal would be a bonus. We got 7 points and only suffered one defeat. That's great, but we can't afford to get complacent because Norwich and Wigan are the games we need to get points from. I'm always happy to take a point away from home but we really have to beat Wigan. That would open up a pretty big gap between them and us and it would start to look like one less team to worry about.

At the start of January, and having seen this tough run of fixtures whilst our opponents had some "winnable" games, I said that as long as we're no more than 3 points adrift of 17th place then I'd take that, knowing we'd still be in with a shout of stopping up. To actually be 2 points clear is a fabulous achievement considering how low morale must've been.
Confidence must be sky high in the squad at the moment.
It took Coyle a bit too long for my liking, but eventually he got there and found the right formula. Here's hoping the experience will serve him (and us) well in the future.
